MY NEW ALBUM"EYE"
EYE is available from January 28th on all digital streaming platforms, published by “Inner Circle Music”, the New York's record label founded by famous saxophonist Greg Osby.
The concept of the album follows the principle of “follow your instinct”:
"Being able to reveal our personality is becoming more and more a privilege, with EYE I wanted to express freely my personality, through improvisation and experimentation."
Besides the more virtuosi track like “Central Station” and “Eye”, in the tracklist of the record there are more aethereal songs like “Pioggia” and “For your Love”,
very intimate compositions, a sort of sonic oasis where the listener can relax and enjoy the music to it’s maximum expression.
The album is composed by Luca Bellanova and produced together with sound engineer and producer Francesco Passi. The band is formed by bassist Alvaro Labao and drummer Luca Masotti. It has been recorded and mixed by Francesco Passi and mastered at “Pisistudio” by Claudio "Pisi" Gruer.
"Recording studios aren’t usually my favorite environment where to express myself the best, but thanks to an excellent sound engineer and to the synergy with Alvaro and Luca, I felt really comfortable; I also wanted to give freedom of expression
to the others, that is the fundamental aspect and the main strength of the project."
From a strong connection between music and images arises the collaboration with artist Cosimo Bellanova; “Wake Up in the Sky” is the name of the cover artwork.
